The Rodgers Forge Community Association voted yesterday to oppose the Towson Station/Royal Farms project at York and Bosley, despite the fact that our neighborhood is slated to receive part of the “community benefit” in the form of a $3,000 solar-powered speed sign on Stevenson Lane paid for by Caves Valley. The gas station itself does not provide a benefit to the area, and the expenditure of just $50,000 for area trails, trees and speed signs does not make up for the negative impacts this project would have on Towson.
