Fick Bros. Company Donates Time and Materials for Rodgers Forge Sign Repair

A message from the RFCA President, Gerry Truelove:

When the Rodgers Forge community replaced its sign last fall, the brick columns supporting the sign were found to have loose brick and mortar joints.  The brick faces were also stained and discolored.  When seeking masonry repair contractors, Fick Bros. Company made a generous offer to contribute the time and materials for the needed repairs.  The company repaired the loose brick and mortar, cleaned the dirty brick columns, and added two-inch-thick rough-hewed bluestone caps to the columns.  The work was completed the first week in March.  On behalf of RFCA and the Rodgers Forge community, we would like to acknowledge and thank the Fick Bros. Company for its generous support.
