Dumbarton House Concert Success

The inaugural Dumbarton House concert took place on the early evening of Thursday, August 11th. Initially rained out the previous night, a robust neighborhood crowd gathered under the trees of the House lawn to enjoy the music of Baltimore-based musician Suzannah from the porch of the historic structure. Thankfully, the weather cooperated and attendees benefitted from a post-storm break in the recent heat. A skilled singer-songwriter, Suzannah played a set of originals and well-known tunes, backed by an equally talented group of musicians. Patrons of the free event, sponsored by the RFCA itself, were invited to “BYO” coolers and lawn chairs, or enjoy the delicious pizza of Dizzy Cow Pizzeria Truck, a Forge family-owned small business. The event itself was curated by Forge resident Michael Kuhl, a professional musician who serves as Suzannah’s drummer, and who is already planning for more concerts on the House porch in the near future.
