Neighborhood issues with vandalism, underage drinking, and juvenile gatherings

Rodgers Forge continues to experience juvenile disturbances from sundown until midnight, primarily on Friday and Saturday evenings.  Vandalism from “egging” of personal cars and homes to property destruction have recently taken place.  Evidence of underage drinking has been found at various locations in the community.  Noisy gatherings of large groups of juveniles is a common occurrence.  The primary area is around Dumbarton House and the surrounding fields.  Additional sites include the Royal Farms area, the Villas site west of Bellona Road, York Road and south of Overbrook Road.

The Baltimore County Police Department is aware of the issues and is scheduling additional car patrols during problem times.  Officer Foley of the Towson Precinct Community Outreach Team is suggesting that any resident who observes the described behavior immediately call 911 (not the non-emergency number and not waiting until the following day).  Officer Foley is hopeful that neighbors can identify some of these children so that officers can engage with them and address the unacceptable behavior.
