Rat Control and Treatment Program

You may have seen signs indicating Baltimore County is doing rat extermination in certain sections of Rodgers Forge. This was not requested by the RFCA, but we are sharing information from the county, including what that yellow or red tape on your property means.

• Yellow ribbon - NO rat activity found on the property

• Red ribbon - property treated by the exterminator

As always please keep your trash cans in good condition with the lids on tight.  Collect the emptied cans, replace the lid and store them the day they are collected.

Clean and maintain your yard, remove any accumulated outside stored items, avoid the feeding of pets and wildlife outside, remove any fallen fruit or vegetables and remove animal feces daily.

Property owners may request a waiver from extermination treatment by calling Code Enforcement at 410-877-3351 before the treatment process begins.
