No recycling pickup on Fridays until Jan. 8

Baltimore County says: “Due to continued icy road conditions impacting some alleys and narrow roadways, recycling collections scheduled for Friday, December 18, 2020, have been cancelled to allow crews to focus on this week's remaining trash pickups.

Residents whose normal recycling collection occurs on Fridays are asked to please hold these materials until the next scheduled pickup or visit a County drop-off center.

Trash collections scheduled for December 18 will occur where and when road conditions permit. Residents are asked to please leave trash materials out until collection occurs.

Scheduled recycling collections will run normally beginning Monday, December 21.”

We called the county to ask about this, as the following Friday is Christmas and the Friday after that is News Years Day. They said that means the next Friday pickup will be Jan. 8, 2021. Residents can take their recycling to a drop-off center if needed.
