After 18 months spent apart, where friendship was confined to bubbles and zoom calls, the RFCA has made this year's picnic all about Friends, Family, and Community.
This year's lineup includes: a scavenger hunt through the Forge leading up to Saturday to get you in the spirit; a food truck owned by a Rodgers Forge family; a 50/50 raffle to show the RFCA's appreciation to a few of our incredible neighbors; and donation drop offs to support our local communities.
We can't wait to see you on Saturday!!
Food
Rodgers Forge favorite Well Crafted Kitchen will be selling their delicious pizzas until 6:30. Pre-orders will be available this whole week -- please place your orders now and support this neighbor-owned and operated restaurant.
Scavenger Hunt
To appreciate the cool, fun, quirky, beautiful sights of the Forge, we're having a neighborhood-wide scavenger hunt! Email Board@RodgersForge.org with the subject line "2021 Scavenger Hunt" so you can get your card. Be sure to include your address and how many participants you have! Return your card at the Picnic on Saturday to redeem your reward prize pack. (Separate arrangements can be made for people who will be out of town on the day of the picnic).
50/50 Raffle
To celebrate YOU, our wonderful neighbors in Rodgers Forge, we'll also be having a 50/50 raffle! The winner is guaranteed to receive at least $200. Two more neighbors will win Summer Fun gift baskets, valued at $50+. Tickets are on sale now, and will also be available for purchase on the day of the event.
$1 each, with special pricing available for Community Association members.
Book & School Supply Drive
As you may have seen - a group of neighbors in Rodgers Forge have teamed up with a north Baltimore neighborhood to become sister neighborhoods. As part of this initiative, Rodgers Forge is helping to build a Little Free Library in their community. We will have a place for you to donate your gently used books for us to deliver in the library. We will also be collecting gently used school supplies to support students in need -- Please take this opportunity to donate if you can!
