Thefts from Vehicles

An FYI for our community. Please be vigilant!

From BCPD Towson Precinct Community Outreach Team Officer Foley:

“Over the past weekend a suspect was apprehended while breaking into vehicles within the community. This subject was observed in the area of Murdock Road, Regester Ave, and Blenheim Road. Although he was apprehended at the time of this call, evidence on the scene suggests that this wasn’t his first time in the area. Please remind everyone to keep their doors locked. The Suspect was observed “trying door handles” and only entered unlocked vehicles.  If anyone has yet to file a report please explain the importance of this.  There is still outstanding property that could be returned to the owner if they are able to file a report and describe the items taken.

I also need to share that once again this apprehension was due to a good witness within the community. He was able to gather a detailed description of the Suspect and watched his location from a safe distance. These actions resulted in the Suspect being apprehended and property being returned to the rightful owners.”
