Community Corner: Little Free Library Update

A huge thank you to everyone who donated books to the Little Free Library project at the picnic on Saturday! We are so excited to have the support of our community behind this idea.

Fundraising efforts have been very successful, and we are now within $100 of our fundraising goal. If you haven’t donated yet and can spare a few dollars, you can help realize the vision of installing a Little Free Library in the Woodbourne-McCade neighborhood near Good Samaritan Hospital.

Funds will be used to purchase the library, the post on which it rests, the fee to be associated officially with the Little Free Library project, and any leftover funds will be used to purchase books for the library, with an emphasis on those that feature diversity.

The Rodgers Forge Eagle Scouts have agreed to construct the library once it has been purchased.
